PE Curriculum Statement

Here at Hanbury Primary, PE and sports play a huge role in keeping our pupils healthy and active. We provide an environment where pupils of all abilities have the opportunity to take part in physical activity on a regular basis, enabling them to become physically confident and enthusiastic about sports.

Through both PE sessions and our extensive range of extra-curricular clubs, we give pupils with the opportunity to develop skills and compete in a range of enjoyable sports; with fairness and respect playing an integral role to their development. Our aim is that through this positive approach, we can help build the foundations, which enable our pupils to develop a love and passion for sport, in a way which will help them maintain their interest into their later lives.
